Well, this past sunday it was a bit dreary out, but everything was so green...and I just thought it would be fun to take a few pictures of Andrew in his sun/rain hat and little froggy boots (although they are entirely too big....they will be for next year of course!) I just couldn't resist putting them on him. And this is the sailor outfit mom bought him a few weeks ago. After a quick wash and dry, it fits him pretty well! (we still have to roll up the pants once, though).
heheh....this one is for you, grandma!
He can't quite sit up on his own yet, so his facial expressions while trying to do so are quite funny. It looks as if he is not quite sure about those flowers...
But with a little help from daddy, standing is much better (if you know Andrew, he LOVES to stand up!)
The little frog man with his mamma. I wonder, will Andrew like to jump in mud puddles when he grows up? Hmm, perhaps that is a silly question! If he does, I think i will be joining him :)

love
Proud Grandma and Grandpa on Andrew's dedication day! We were so blessed that mom and dad were able to come out to ohio for this special weekend (not to mention, we were able to celebrate mother's day together, too!) Here are a few highlights from the weekend in a nut shell:
Dedicating Andrew to the Lord, with the support and love of our family, church family, and
friends.
Giving mom a beautiful hanging basket for mothers day.
Watching both mom and dad hold Andrew, seeing their love for him
Walking around Powell with mom, pushing Andrew in his little stroller for the 1st time
Eating cookies from the Beehive Bakery
Tasty Tenderloin marinade!
Dad and Joe enjoyed a HUGE gun show...dad bought a bayonet
edging the flower beds (with help from the master gardner :)
planting herbs, ferns, and lady's mantle, sharing our love for all things green
dad and joe hauling stones, building a beautiful retaining wall beneath the deck
laughing at Andrew
knowing how hard dad worked the past week, so he could take off and come out to ohio
maggie and molly playing endlessly
time spent with family...enjoyed by all!!!!

4 MONTHS!!!
Andrew has begun to grasp everything between his little hands, nowadays, and then promptly brings it to his mouth! He is giggling, cooing, squealing, etc. Especially when we tickle him, or gently toss him into the air. He loves it when we sing "Spring up Oh Well", "Jesus Loves the little children", and when Joe reads the "Three Little Bears". Basically, he loves it anytime we sing or read to him! He smiles with his whole face...his eyes especially. And you just can't help but smile back. My prayer is that he continues to bring joy to people all of his life. Oh yes, another accomplishment is that he has learned to roll over! From his belly to his back. Of course, it doesn't happen on command...only when he wants to. We tried baby cereal last friday...but to no avail. Just not ready yet! He made a funny face and all the cereal just dribbled down his chin :) We will wait a bit, and try again later. He is growing fast and learning things everyday!
Easter
Just hanging out under the apple tree at grandma and grandpa's house. He looks a bit mischievous, I think!
Great grandma and grandpa Brown sent this little red wagon our way, so Andrew can enjoy it! I have many memories of playing in this, and hopefully he will too.
Proud papa....
What a blessing to celebrate this holiday as a family of three, now! Praise be to the King, who has risen and will come again! Thank you Lord, for giving us so many things that we don't deserve. The infectious smile of this little boy, to name one! :) We look forward to many more Easters together...and I think that grandma has a few easter egg hunts planned for future easters, too :)
